The global HR leadership team recently assembled in Budapest, Hungary for their annual Meeting. Participants from 23 countries worldwide met for three days to network, learn from each other and develop Diaverum’s HR agenda for the coming year.

Day 1: Tuesday, 17 October

The first day focused on reconnecting with each other, discussing the changing business context and looking back over the past year, including how successfully Diaverum has been navigating challenging global events as an organisation. Learnings and achievements across various HR processes were also covered, including best practice method presentations from colleagues in Kazakhstan and Saudi Arabia. The meeting also welcomed two guest speakers, Chief Transformation Officer, Zoltán Szepesi and Gábor Kulifai, VP Global Project Portfolio; they gave updates on ongoing digital transformation projects, with a specific focus on HR and also facilitated a workshop on labour efficiency. 

Day 2: Wednesday, 18 October

The second day saw delegates visit the Szent László Hospital, where Diaverum Hungary Country Manager, Tamas Kohler, gave an overview of the Hungarian business and hosted a very interesting clinic visit. The team then moved on to Diaverum Hungary’s HQ, where Fruzsina Karacsony-Toth, IBOF Director, delivered an engaging presentation and workshop on how IBOF can support HR and drive efficiency across the function. CEO Dimitris Moulavasilis, joined delegates in the afternoon to share updates for the year ahead, following on from Diaverum’s acquisition by M42 earlier in the year. The session was followed by a workshop on Diaverum's leadership and a further best practice session hosted by Diaverum Italy. In the evening, delegates had the opportunity to experience the beauties of the Meeting’s host city, with a boat ride on the Danube River, followed by a guided tour in the city centre, led by the Hungarian d.PEOPLE team.

Day 3: Thursday, 19 October

The last day focused on peer-to-peer learning and discussions on how to improve & develop our HR processes, via a FIKA session format. Finally, CHRO Andreas Fagher closed the conference by outlining the priorities for 2024. 

Commenting on the Meeting’s success, Andreas said: “I am very happy that the global HR leadership community had the opportunity to assemble for three days. The time we spend together is invaluable, with many learnings and productive discussions”.
